TSIA MCP Connector for Claude
What the Connector Does
The Connector is a read-only integration. It allows an authenticated TSIA member to retrieve information from their TSIA account and from TSIA's research and benchmarking services directly within a Claude conversation. The Connector cannot create, modify, or delete any data in TSIA's systems, and cannot take any action on a user's behalf beyond retrieving and returning information they request.
Authentication
To use the Connector, a user must securely sign in to their TSIA account OAuth. TSIA does not receive or store the user's Claude credentials, and Anthropic does not receive or store the user's TSIA password. The OAuth connection can be revoked at any time by the user, either from their TSIA account settings or from their Claude connector settings.
Data Collection Practices
When a user makes a request through the Connector, TSIA may collect and process:
• The specific query or request passed from Claude to TSIA's systems (e.g., a request for benchmarking data, research content, or account details).
• Authentication tokens used to verify the user's identity and membership status.
• The TSIA account data necessary to fulfill that specific request (e.g., membership status, research area preferences, benchmarking results the user is entitled to view).
• Basic technical/connection metadata (timestamp, request type) for security and troubleshooting purposes.
The Connector does not access, log, or retain the broader content of a user's Claude conversation. TSIA only receives the specific request sent to it in order to return the requested information — it does not see other messages, files, or context from the user's Claude session.
Usage
Data processed through the Connector is used solely to:
• Authenticate the user and confirm their entitlement to the requested content.
• Retrieve and return the requested information to the user via Claude.
• Maintain the security, reliability, and performance of the Connector.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
TSIA does not use Connector activity for advertising, does not sell this data, and does not share it with data brokers.
Storage
• Authentication tokens and Connector request logs are stored on TSIA's production infrastructure, located in the United States
• Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest.
• Access to stored Connector data is restricted to authorized TSIA personnel and systems that require it to operate or troubleshoot the Connector (e.g., engineering, security). It is not accessible to TSIA staff outside those functions.
• TSIA does not store a copy of the user's underlying Claude conversation — only the discrete request and response exchanged with the Connector.
• Backups follow TSIA's standard backup and disaster-recovery schedule and are subject to the same retention limits described in the Data Retention section.
Data Retention
Connector request logs and authentication tokens are retained for 30 days for security and troubleshooting purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Underlying account and membership data accessed through the Connector continues to be governed by the retention terms of the TSIA Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Sharing
TSIA shares Connector request data with Anthropic only to the extent necessary to transmit the requested information back to the user through Claude. TSIA does not share Connector data with any other third party except as described in the general TSIA Privacy Policy (e.g., legal process, service providers under contract, or a business transfer). TSIA does not sell Connector data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Security
The Connector uses OAuth with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access is scoped to the authenticated user's own account and entitlements — the Connector cannot retrieve another user's data.
User Controls
Users can, at any time:
• Revoke the Connector's access to their TSIA account (via TSIA account settings or Claude's connector settings).
• Request a copy of the data TSIA has processed through the Connector.
• Request deletion of Connector logs, subject to the retention needs described in the Data Retention section.
