SAN DIEGO and SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 8, 2013 — The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the leading association for today’s technology services organizations, today announced Get Satisfaction, SAP, and ThruView as winners of the 2013 TSIA Vision Awards at the Technology Services World (TSW) 2013 Best Practices conference in Santa Clara, California. Finalists include Avaya, Coveo, Dancing E, ServiceSource, and SolvOnce.
The awards were the result of TSIA’s fourth annual Service Revolutions competition, featuring a series of on-stage demonstrations revealing the latest innovations in technology services—from cutting-edge services new to the market, to start-ups with innovative service models, to the newest advances in service technology, to the latest breakthroughs from the emerging world of service science. Winners were selected by a live audience of industry practitioners along with a panel of expert judges.
The 2013 Vision Awards are based on the theme, “True vision is having the intelligent foresight to define a better, more productive future.” A total of eight companies competed in three categories: Commercial, Service Practitioner, and Startup. One winner was selected in each category. Get Satisfaction won in the Commercial category, SAP won in the Service Practitioner category, and ThruView won in the Startup category. As Startup category winner, ThruView was awarded a $10,000 cash prize.
“Introduced in 2010 and growing year over year, the TSIA Vision Awards recognize game-changing ideas in technology services that are beyond the cutting edge,” said J.B. Wood, president and CEO of TSIA. “True innovation takes place on that stage during the competition. Each of these organizations demonstrated compelling technology services advancements. It was an energized atmosphere, and we’re looking forward to hosting this exciting event again next spring.”
