The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) is a for profit membership organization that helps technology and services organizations both large and small grow and advance by providing world-class business frameworks, best practices, detailed performance benchmarking, exceptional peer networking opportunities, and high-profile certification and awards programs. TSIA also hosts bi-annual educational and research based conferences that includes over 3,000 services executives from around the world. Our firm focuses on eight practice disciplines around technology and software services.

Responsibilities

The TSIA sales analyst, membership development is responsible for researching target companies to identify specific decision makers and key executives who are responsible and accountable for service lines of business. This position will be focused on creating campaign lists, analyzing companies, sourcing key contacts, understanding the business hierarchy of organizations, analyzing new markets and data entry in our CRM system.

In this role, you will also build the necessary skills to position you for a sales career by learning sales methodology, sales tactics, call strategies, and practice using role-play so that you can eventually take the next step into a quota carrying sales position. You will also learn the latest technology trends that are driving new business models in technology, specifically around software. You will learn how to effectively use business prospecting tools and the latest technology that serves the new generation of sales professionals.

Experience and Skill Requirements

  • Basic understanding of business tools like salesforce.com, LinkedIn, Microsoft office, Hoovers and internet search engines.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow through and able to manage schedules efficiently and effectively.
  • 1-3 years experience in inside sales in a technology company preferred.
  • BA or BS degree, MBA preferred.
