One of the most common topics associated with Managed Services is not if, but when your key applications will end up in "The Cloud." Although often addressed as a fait accompli, this is not necessarily everyone's destination, at least not immediately. So where does that leave a company that does not want to invest in the highly trained (and often rare) resources that will be needed to provide the qualified operational administration of their mission-critical systems? And more so, do they have the sufficient workload to keep these expensive resources busy (and challenged)?
In this session, we will review and explore several options that in themselves are viable alternatives, that at the same time, will help prepare the enterprise for subsequent steps toward full Cloud EMS and SaaS. Additionally, we'll discuss how to get started with a standardized, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) approach.
