Organizational convergence. It’s clearly the hottest topic so far this year; the subject of the conference and many recent TSIA papers. But a lot of the organizational models we’re proposing are more aspirational than actual. What’s more, there are arguably still more questions than answers, especially for the mature disciplines like Professional Services.

Leveraging a panel of experienced PS leaders, this discussion will seek to shed light on a topic that remains cloudy and confusing.

  • How is industry transformation affecting PS from an organizational model standpoint?
  • How is organizational and services convergence presenting itself in terms of PS?
  • What are the right PS organizational responses to the shift from technology as an asset to technology as a service?
  • When does it make sense for PS to remain independent?
  • What organizational capabilities are converging with other service lines?
  • What’s working? What are the landmines?

We’ll discuss these and other questions in this session.

TSIA is well worth the investment. This is the one place where you can come and get a fusion of ideas that you can then marry up to the goals and objectives of your organization and boil that down into several actionable plans that you can implement over the next 6 months to a year.
