Technical Services Entitlement teams want to maximize our service revenue and avoid giving away service, yet want to ensure the delivery of service for which customers have paid. Asset Management Service provides proactive management of a customer's Cisco installed base.

Cisco’s Asset Management Service is designed to offer Cisco Customers a solution for effectively managing the lifecycle of their Cisco assets. Improved processes will be deployed into the account that will enable the Cisco Account Team, Partner, and Customer to have accurate and timely information about device locations, service coverage status, and pending product life cycle events. Successful implementation of Asset Management will improve the lifecycle management, account support, and service planning.
