We all know that data breaches have become commonplace in the news. Thus, data protection has become a boardroom issue for many companies, and our customers, and so we must all be responsible and accountable whenever we’re working with customer data. At Cisco, we take responsibility for protecting, securing, and controlling access to that data. It is our responsibility to provide confidence that it is appropriately protected and managed by our people, process, and technology. Building upon the challenge of protecting and securing customer and partner data, this session will touch on data management and Customer Data Protection (CDP) Risk framework, including risk inventory and prioritization criteria. The risk inventory serves as the foundation to establish the CDP Risk Profile when evaluating the risk likelihood, impact, management effectiveness, and other risk characteristics.
