I will also discuss coaching tips I have learned from outside of the workplace that translate to coaching and training Support Engineers. Turning Business Challenges into Employee Growth Opportunities Presented by Diana Brown, SAP We often hear that employees are a company’s biggest asset. The question this generates is, how are we making sure we make the most of these key assets? This session will focus on how to use coaching to help people identify their strengths and passions and use these to solve business problems. Topics covered will include: • How to use coaching to identify development opportunities for employees • Creating and building on personal development plans • How to encourage employee growth through taking on challenges outside ones comfort zone but aligned with ones strengths • Recognizing success to encourage the right behaviors throughout an organization Focusing on employee development can be a powerful tool for finding creative solutions to business challenges. While creating an environment that challenges and stimulates our top talent, we can tap the strengths of these individuals to have real impact on business outcomes. This approach will help us develop the leaders of the future as we empower people to find solutions to problems then take the initiative to push their own development to realize these solutions.
