Professional services organizations (PSOs) have made great strides in implementing global, centralized resource management. Research and studies, however, continue to show that resource forecasting and capacity planning continue to be a challenge for many organizations. Without effective capacity planning, PSOs are forced to be more tactical. This, in turn, impedes their ability to support the growth and strategic objectives of the company. This session brings together a panel of individuals who have insight and direct experience with improving their PS organization’s ability to forecast resources and capacity plan. The panel will explore how they overcame challenges with technology, data quality, cross-organization collaboration and effective execution of resource planning processes. Capacity planning is complex and each situation is different. Learn how to apply the learnings of the panel to your situation. Marc Lacroix of RTM Consulting and Dave Young of TSIA will moderate this panel session. Attend this session to help map your strategy on how to make resource capacity planning work in your organization.

TSIA is well worth the investment. This is the one place where you can come and get a fusion of ideas that you can then marry up to the goals and objectives of your organization and boil that down into several actionable plans that you can implement over the next 6 months to a year.
