During this short-burst session, we will hear from executives at Hitachi Data Systems and Varian Medical Systems describe how they use Business Value Mapping to design new service offers and the impact of new cloud offers on organizational constructs. Hitachi Data Systems has developed a portfolio of services designed to help customers reduce both complexity and cost of managing infrastructure. HDS will describe how they are blending a diverse set of information service and data center operations offers to achieve these outcomes. Varian has recently implemented a "Network Operations Center" (NOC) that is being used to support their migration to Cloud offerings. Varian will discuss their transformation and their new motto "moving from behind a windshield to behind a computer monitor" to provide remote support and more proactive / predictive monitoring.

TSIA is well worth the investment. This is the one place where you can come and get a fusion of ideas that you can then marry up to the goals and objectives of your organization and boil that down into several actionable plans that you can implement over the next 6 months to a year.
