We’ve likely all used or heard the term “there are no silver bullets,” alluding to the fact that there is no quick fix to most problems. This figurative use derives from the use of actual silver bullets and the widespread folk belief that they were the only way of killing werewolves or other supernatural beings. Customer training organizations aren’t killing werewolves or other supernatural beings, but they are trying to conquer something just as ominous: content consumption and learning subscription renewal. Data from the survey reveals that a whopping 72% of education organizations DO NOT have a formal subscription renewal strategy.
