The explosion of the cloud is dramatically expanding the number of external organizations with whom organizations will need to collaborate on IT issues, and the only hope of scaling in this new world is to automate the integration of tools and processes. With the proliferation of data gathering for analytics, the volume of data most organizations are dealing with is doubling every one to two years. That data is also becoming highly distributed (private cloud, public cloud, on-premise, IoT devices). Data sources are also changing. Relational databases are being augmented by non-relational databases (big data), and data that lives in the cloud is accessed in many cases via APIs rather than SQL queries. This divergence of location, type, and access methods for data is causing organizations to have data silos in a way not seen since before the enterprise data warehouse became commonplace. Managed services providers have an amazing opportunity to help customers with this mess, and make money in the process. This presentation will share what we’re doing with our acquisition of Composite Software, and how other organizations can find opportunities in their industries to capitalize on this opportunity.
TSIA is well worth the investment. This is the one place where you can come and get a fusion of ideas that you can then marry up to the goals and objectives of your organization and boil that down into several actionable plans that you can implement over the next 6 months to a year.
