Netscout visibility as a service (VaaS) provides enterprises with actionable insights from our market-leading monitoring platform. One of the challenges Netscout’s customers face is the amount of effort required to keep their monitoring solution in synch with their dynamic IT infrastructure, ensuring accurate information from the Netscout toolset. In order to profitably scale our managed services offer, initiatives focused on automating key workflows were identified. The VaaS team leveraged product APIs, cloud, virtualization, and CICD processes to deliver automation, consistency, and relevance, ensuring the data integrity required to drive actionable insights. In this session we will cover how we used the Hoshin Kanri approach to identify automation as a focus area. We will cover the high-priority key automation initiatives selected, including: Architecture/platform/tools. Discovery and implementation processes. Roles, skills, and knowledge sharing. The realized benefits of these initiatives include deployment and delivery efficiency gains, consistent high quality, accelerated time to customer value, and transformed customer relationships.
