Ellucian’s Sales team relies on timely, high-quality SOWs for the many services in the Ellucian service portfolio. In order to accomplish this goal, Ellucian has implemented a self-service automated SOW generation solution which has brought the average time-to-SOW from days to minutes while minimizing error. The solution also allows Ellucian's sales teams to immediately change the SOW's based on implementation modality and configure for specific customer needs through simple, easy to understand questions.
In this session, we will discuss some of the challenges we faced as an organization, in both speed of delivery of SOWs to customers, as well as SOW quality issues. We also will explore how the implementation of a self-service automated SOW generation tool provided improved customer experience during the sales cycle, and the internal efficiencies we achieved. Specific examples will be given, including lessons learned for those considering a similar approach.
