First came the pandemic. Then the Great Resignation. Now there’s a potential recession on the horizon. Each of these has significant impacts on building, maintaining, and optimizing a dynamic professional services workforce.
Recent employee engagement research from TSIA shows that 82% of Gen Z employees working in the B2B tech industry expect to stay in a job for less than five years, and 42% less than three years. Independent research from Kantata shows that 53% of Millennials and 52% of Gen Z workers have considered becoming a freelancer or independent contractor, and that 76% of current independent contractors say they were full-time employees just one year ago. As a result of all these changes, 61% of senior managers say they spend 33% or more of their day trying to solve employee turnover issues.
Workforce dynamics have irreversibly changed. The businesses that thrive going forward will have proactive strategies that enable them to both retain key talent in spite of the forces trying to pull them away and to build a trusted network of external contributors who amplify the capabilities of their internal teams.
In this webinar, John Ragsdale, TSIA’s Distinguished Researcher, Vice President Technology Ecosystems, and Charles Gustine, Kantata Brand Evangelist, will highlight key findings from TSIA and Kantata research and outline tactics businesses can use to stay ahead of the changing dynamics of the modern services workforce. These include:
