Instructor-led training has long been the cash cow for customer training organizations. Social distancing guidelines, however, have clearly put the kibosh on that. While education organizations have seen bookings for public classroom and onsite training plummet, online learning and virtual instructor-led training have steadily increased over the months. What does all this mean for education services revenue and what tactics are education organizations using to preserve and grow revenue?

Join Maria Manning-Chapman, Vice President, Education Services Research, as she discusses the current revenue status and reviews several approaches customer training organizations can take to maintain and grow revenue, such as:

  • Adjusting list price
  • Converting free trial offers to fee-based training
  • Designating face-to-face training as a “premium” offer
  • Adding features to subscription offers to increase their value
It remains to be seen if public classroom and onsite training will fully rebound to pre-COVID booking levels. In a future that is anything but certain, learn what other education organizations are doing to manage training revenue in the new normal.
