Last year TSIA conducted a survey on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) considerations in hiring practices. While some practices were well adopted across technology firms, several processes emerged as pacesetter practices, including eliminating bonuses for employee referrals, a focus on ‘culture add’ instead of ‘culture fit,’ and having conversations about candidate diversity with HR prior to extending an offer.
