“How much revenue did you make last month?” This is a question education services leaders are asked on a regular basis, at least 12 times a year. It is also a question to which they always know the answer. But what about questions like, “How has education services contributed to overall account spend?” or “How has training influenced product adoption and usage?” or “What impact has education had on follow-on product sales?” Sadly, these are much harder questions to answer. Education services has always struggled with its ability to define the total positive impact it has on company results. A recent poll administered to members of TSIA’s Education Services discipline revealed that very few education services organizations actively track economic impact metrics.
