Professional Services Compensation: 2019
This DataView summarizes the key compensation trends as identified by the 2019 Professional Services Compensation Study. This study has been run periodically since 2007 and includes five updates overall: 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019. The initial catalyst for the study was to establish benchmarks on variable or incentive compensation levers.
Since that initial study in 2007, the study parameters have extended to the point where the benchmarks we collect ultimately give a very comprehensive view of overall PS labor cost and practices directly related to labor cost.
The TSIA PS Compensation Study provides benchmarks and insights around the following five parameters: Base-Incentive Mix (pay mix), Salary Level, "Pyramid" (organizational shape), Incentive Compensation (IC mix), and Utilization/Activity.

TSIA is well worth the investment. This is the one place where you can come and get a fusion of ideas that you can then marry up to the goals and objectives of your organization and boil that down into several actionable plans that you can implement over the next 6 months to a year.
