There has been a recent spate of inquiries into the professional services research team at TSIA posing various forms of the same question.  

Here’s an iteration that gets to the gist of all of the inquiries: “Does TSIA have any content that can be shared regarding the impact a dedicated services sales team has on key PS metrics? We need some content and metrics that help demonstrate that a PS business benefits from dedicated services sales resources.”

And here’s another one: “We are looking for content or data points that we could use to help justify investing in PS sales.”

These are two actual, current inquiries and they are virtually identical. They are not the only ones. There is clearly a need being felt by TSIA’s PS Community. This DataView explores what's going on.
