Many education services organizations (ESOs) are not clear on the best way to structure and staff their organization. They tend to ask questions such as:
- How do others structure their ESOs?
- What are the current benchmarks on headcount distribution across functions and roles within an ES organization?
- What is the workforce structure of ES organizations, particularly in regards to the ratio of headcount by function?
TSIA's biennial ES Compensation Study helps us answer these questions. This study captures individual roles for entire ESOs which allows TSIA to take that data and analyze company shape for each participant. In doing so, we can aggregate the data further to get an idea of the average company shape for ESOs.
