In a customer success world, offer development becomes increasingly more important. It’s not always about the content, it’s the packaging as well. What training content, programs and services can be put together to create an offer that helps customers get started, if new to a product, or helps customers optimize a product, if they’ve been using it for a while? Enabling customer success starts with a robust portfolio of education offers and ideally, a portfolio management function to manage it. Portfolio Management (PM) addresses such things as gathering customer requirements, prioritizing the offer development workload, assigning budget to offer development projects and establishing routes to market.
This session will discuss best practices used by HPE education services to manage our diverse, complex, and rapidly changing education portfolio. Specific areas we’ll explore include:
What is Portfolio Management and why is it important?
How do we know if PM is effective? What are key PM responsibilities, objectives and metrics?
What are HPE’s lessons learned?
How can you get started?
