We are looking for a Senior SEO Content Writer to join our Marketing team. You will play a key role in helping us reach our target audiences by delivering valuable information about our company and portfolio of offers and establish us as a top thought leader in the technology industry.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for writing and managing the company blog, including leveraging content produced by our team of Research Executives and translating technical content and data into reader-friendly, top-of-funnel content. You will be collaborating with our digital marketing manager to ensure the content is optimized for SEO and is easy to read/digest. In addition, you will also maintain the company editorial style guide and provide editing support to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute the company blog and own its content strategy which aligns with overall marketing initiatives. 2-3 blog posts per week.
  • Write SEO-driven blog posts, based on research, outline, and direction from digital marketing.
  • Collaborate/implement SEO re-optimizing on existing blogs. This includes updating titles, metas, alt tags and elaborating on existing content.
  • Edit and proofread different content to ensure alignment with editorial style guide, brand guidelines, and occasional fact checking.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team to enrich text with visual aids such as images and charts
  • Monitor blog metrics such as blog views and subscriber rates and create monthly and quarterly blog reports that are presented to the Marketing team.
  • Lead the strategy and collaborate within the marketing team and cross organizationally to implement strategies to increase blog engagement and subscribers.
  • Interview industry experts, internal team members, and customers when needed.
  • Be a subject matter expert that guides senior executives to get the maximum impact from blogs by adopting best practices for effective messaging.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to publish regular content under their byline to further establish thought leadership status.
  • Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to leverage existing content to write ebooks and white papers.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of marketing copywriting in an advertising agency or in-house corporate marketing team setting
  • 5+ years of experience writing in enterprise technology, with SaaS focus strongly preferred.
  • Experience writing blogs in technical industries.
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices with experience writing longform/blogs with SEO in mind.
  • Ability to rephrase and use resources to generate an easy to read web blog with powerful hooks.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills including having a positive growth mindset, being comfortable with elaborating on your recommendations, and being patient as you guide others through the process.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and be flexible.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work within brand guidelines
  • Hands-on experience in Content Management Systems. Experience using Kentico and Marketo is a plus
  • Experience in basic HTML a plus
  • Experience with Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Experience with Google Analytics a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Intermediate skills in Adobe Photoshop a plus
