Sr. Marketing Demand Generation Manager

Job Description

Are you a Marketing professional with a proven track record in generating qualified high-tech B2B leads? We are looking for a Sr. Marketing Demand Generation Manager to join our Demand Generation team. The primary focus of the role will be developing and executing the strategy for multi-channel demand generation to pull individuals through their buyer’s journey and increase prospect and customer registrations at our semiannual conference. You must have hands-on experience with marketing automation tools (we use Marketo) and be able to build and maintain nurture tracks and campaigns from the ground up with strategy based on data, best practice experience, and creativity.

Equally important is constant analysis to determine modifications for ongoing improvement. Last, but not least, you must be an extremely strong writer who knows how to craft a good story. You will help bring our value prop to life by writing compelling marketing copy across a range of media for all stages of the buying cycle.


  • Leverage strategic multi-channel marketing to pull prospects and customers through their buyer’s journey.
  • Determine strategy that includes: SEO and digital (PPC, display, retargeting, social ads), social media, PR and blog much of which is executed by other marketing team members.
  • Create and test highly effective lead gen and nurturing campaigns utilizing marketing automation.
  • Cross-organizational collaboration, including ensuring we are constantly leveraging the voice of the customer and latest industry insights in our strategy.
  • Plan and execute A/B tests on emails, landing pages, webpages and advertisements.
  • Collaborate with marketing team peers to create demand generation assets: testimonials, videos etc.
  • Define, monitor, and report on key metrics. Use engagement data and A/B testing to optimize.
  • Develop personalized campaigns that speak to potential attendees at target accounts. (ABM)
  • Execute trade shows where we exhibit, sponsor and or speak, collaborate with SME on messaging and strategy. (typically 3-4 per year)


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, public relations or communications, Masters preferred.
  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience.
  • 5+ years demand generation-focused experience in high tech, SaaS preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with marketing automation systems integrated with a CRM (Salesforce).
  • Ability to research and gather information and interview SMEs and customers as needed.
  • Advanced writing, copy editing, and proofreading skills; exceptional writing skills across a range of media, including email, web, social and online ads.
  • Superior analytical skills that include the ability to see granular as well as big picture issues.
  • A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative, but can also be strategic, process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.
  • Ability to manage projects from conception to implementation and communicate key milestones as progress is made.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
