Senior Product Marketing Manager

You’ll work directly with the head of Product Management on innovating the digital and in-person community and conference experiences of TSIA, while developing messaging and positioning for TSIA’s research portfolio.



  • Managing the strategy, while participating in execution and measurement, of TSIA’s conference experiences and offers
  • Drive the short and long-term roadmap for hybrid in-person/virtual events that are exciting for TSIA members and attractive to prospects
  • Develop business cases to support new product recommendations and pricing, related to conference and partners.
  • Establish buyer personas of members, partners, and prospects participating in TSIA conferences. Includes having a pulse on the future demographics of the workforce and how that will impact TSIA conferences long-term.
  • Deeply understand the needs of TSIA conference attendees in a way that helps shape the content strategy for the overall conference, helping differentiate between two semi annual conferences.
  • Design of offers for partners to include conferences and the full partner portfolio, in collaboration with partner sales.
  • Conduct research and stay proficient in the virtual event landscape, current trends, vendors, and best practices for delivering virtual events. Be the expert on the competitive landscape and propose new ways to innovate.
  • Research virtual and in-person state-of-the-art technology and make recommendations to stakeholders to execute TSIA’s conference experiences.
  • Provide live event support (in conjunction with vendor-provided support) during conference events.
  • Determine the on-demand experience for conference content, to include integration with internal systems and methodologies to track and report on ongoing engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as A/V, Facilities, Information Systems, Design team, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to propose operational changes that will increase efficiency and quality and/or decrease costs.
  • Integrate the community into our digital experience
  • Grow the TSIA Exchange Digital Community and contribute to its integration across multiple touch points


  • Understand the customers and markets we serve
  • Be the subject matter expert for the products/services you own across the customer lifecycle and the tools used to optimize and analyze their success
  • Collaborate with product managers to develop personas for user segments
  • Model customer empathy and uncover insights in order to drive clarity on the best opportunities and competitive differentiation for our offerings
  • Develop messaging and positioning for owned products
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to identify business opportunities, reduce risk and inform strategic modeling (SWOT, Competitive Analysis, Market Segmentation, etc.)
  • Cultivate interest and awareness of trends and best practices as related to the product marketing process and technology
  • Enable Customer Success/Sales with GTM of new products

Your Qualifications

  • Proven track record designing successful virtual events
  • Strong communication and customer interaction skills
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in the events industry
  • Willingness to travel
  • 5+ years working in enterprise technology or environment in product management, marketing, business development, and/or strategy
  • Strong understanding of technology services used in the delivery of software and/or hardware
  • Experience in product lifecycle management in the context of both technology and services
  • Deep customer empathy and curiosity
  • Experience managing products from concept to a successful go-to-market
  • Experience defining requirements for product releases
  • Natural collaborator who partners with cross functional teams to define, build, and maintain products which are critical to growth, engagement, and retention
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to distill complexity and articulate value
  • Able to communicate clearly to diverse audiences with varying methodologies (Whiteboard, presentations, diagrams etc.)
  • Attention to detail
  • Passionate about solving problems
  • Strong analytical skills paired with a need to validate your instincts with data
  • Great track record with cross functional teams—technical, creative, operational team members want to work with you again
  • Self-starter, always looking to find ways to improve
  • Strong understanding of the product lifecycle
  • Thorough knowledge of leading operating systems (macOS/Windows) and office tools (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations) including Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms and/or Office 365
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, etc.
  • Experience working in a startup environment (Product Management operates like a startup within a stable and profitable company)


Remote. Option to work from San Diego office at our company headquarters or in Los Gatos at our secondary office.
