Job Description

The Partner Sales Associate is responsible for researching target companies for partnership with TSIA; identifying potential decision makers and key executives; coordinating with the Marketing team the creation of partner marketing campaigns; and conducting telephone follow-ups to secure initial partnership briefings for the Partner Sales Director.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining the Partner Addressable Market Map (PAMM) and the associated list of target partner companies.
  • Researching target companies by evaluating their financial statements, website, and overall business strategy, and analyzing their potential for partnership.
  • Identifying potential decision makers at target companies and their contact information, and creating campaign lists.
  • Calling into the list of potential partner member contacts to generate interest in partnership with TSIA and secure an initial executive briefing for the Partner Sales Director.
  • Assist the Services Technology Research VP in opening cases for Partner briefings and other Partner-related activities.
  • Assisting Marketing as required in the creation of outbound lead nurturing email campaigns, and the development of partner success stories and other partner collateral.
  • Following up on marketing qualified leads (MQLs) from inbound lead generation activities.
  • Performing general account and contact record hygiene in Salesforce.com.

Additional Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities in this role relate to the administration of TSIA’s Consulting Alliance Partner (CAP) program, including:

  • Responding to requests for information about the program.
  • Scheduling prospective CAP briefings and quarterly CAP update meetings.
  • Processing program applications and agreements.
  • Processing agreement renewals.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new markets, and the business acumen to comprehend business problems faced by those markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct effective research, create and cross-reference lists, and create reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including exceptional writing skills, and strong listening skills.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office applications; social media platforms such as LinkedIn; Internet search engines; corporate research tools such as Hoovers; and CRM software applications such as Salesforce.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow through, and ability to manage schedules efficiently and effectively.
  • BA or BS degree is preferred.
