Are you a marketing professional with a proven track record generating qualified high-tech enterprise B2B leads? The Marketing Events Demand Generation Manager will be the newest addition to our growing Marketing Demand Generation Team. The primary focus of the role will be outbound and inbound enterprise level demand generation campaigns leveraging marketing automation to increase prospect and customer registrations at our semiannual conference. This individual must have hands on experience with marketing automation tools and be able to build and maintain campaigns from the ground up with strategy based on data, best practice experience and creativity. Equally important is reporting for constant analysis to determine modifications for ongoing improvement.

This individual also must be an extremely strong writer who knows how to craft a good story. You will help bring our events to life by writing compelling marketing copy across a range of media, for all stages of the buying cycle.


  • Create and test highly effective lead gen and nurturing campaigns utilizing marketing automation to pull prospects through their buyer’s journey.
  • Plan and execute A/B tests on emails, landing pages, webpages and advertisements.
  • Leverage content marketing, social media, webinars and online advertising for diverse and innovative marketing to obtain conference registrations.
  • Extensive cross organizational collaboration to include ensuring we are constantly leveraging the voice of the customer and latest industry insights in our strategy.
  • Collaborate to create demand generation collateral in digital format, print and video.
  • Define, monitor and report on key metrics. Use engagement data and A/B testing to optimize content and targeting.
  • Develop personalized campaigns that speak to potential attendees at our enterprise target accounts.  (ABM)
  • Execute trade shows where we exhibit, sponsor and or speak, collaborate with SME on messaging and strategy.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or public relations, Masters a plus
  • 10 or more years of marketing demand generation B2B experience, preferably inclusive of events.
  • 5+ years of experience in high tech
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with top tier marketing automation software in conjunction with Salesforce
  • Superior analytical skills that include the ability to see granular as well as big picture issues
  • Excellent business acumen, problem solving and strong project management skills
  • Ability to research and gather information and interview SMEs and customers as needed
  • Exceptional writing skills across a range of media, including email, web and online ads
  • Ability to adapt writing style to varying target audiences and content formats
  • Knowledge of email and website metrics and reporting
  • Past experience collaborating with in-house design teams a plus
  • A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative, but can also be strategic, process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions
  • Ability to manage projects from conception to implementation and communicate key milestones as progress is made
