Graphic Designer – San Diego, CA

Job Description

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Creative Services Director on concept development and creative execution of marketing and conference deliverables
  • Provide overall marketing support principally via graphic design to communicate technology association's messages to key target markets
  • Design and update conference and demand gen deliverables, such as white papers, infographics, and e-books
  • Design online remarketing and display ads for ongoing marketing campaigns
  • Design social media and branded assets for multiple social channel promotions and communications
  • Design web and email images for demand gen deliverables
  • Create and manage corporate business cards
  • Optimize and manage corporate headshots
  • Create and update company product logos
  • Design and enhance corporate PowerPoint presentations for webinar, and conference presentations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design; or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency
  • Minimum of 5 years' professional experience is required
  • Marketing collaboration experience, especially in or around tech services, is a plus
  • Comfortable in Mac OS
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Intermediate skills in Adobe Creative Suite, more specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge is a plus
  • Clear understanding of web and print file optimization practices
  • Demonstrate strong corporate visual style and ability to adhere to company brand standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to collaborate, analyze, and to explain alternatives clearly are a must
  • Must have online portfolio of previous work
