John Ragsdale Commentary
I first met Phil Verghis in the late 1990s, when he headed up support operations for the University of New Hampshire. From there, he went to Duke University, where he led the support team onto the Web. I next caught up with Phil when he was vice president of infrastructure & support at Akamai Technologies, and he was a big part of the meteoric rise of that firm. A brilliant strategist and innovator, Phil now serves as founder and president of the Verghis Group, a consultancy specializing in the optimization of global service delivery. Having served on the SSPA Advisory Board, Phil is intimately familiar with the challenges facing SSPA members, and is ready to help members achieve their business goals for the support operation. |
