Association Information
The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) is the leading professional association of the technology services industry. Our ranks include thousands of services executives, managers, and professionals from around the globe, representing the world’s leading enterprise and consumer technology companies, as well as scores of innovative small and midsize businesses across nine vertical industries.
Formed in October 2009 from the merger of the Association for Services Management International (AFSMI), the Service & Support Professionals Association (SSPA), and the Technology Professional Services Association (TPSA), TSIA brings together a rich heritage—spanning more than three decades—of serving the needs of professionals across the full spectrum of technology services disciplines.
As TSIA, our mission is unchanged: to provide opinion and thought leadership, business models, communities, industry-wide benchmarks, events, advisory services, and organizational development and certification programs that our members can leverage to create sustained improvement in their service businesses.
The service disciplines around which our historical associations were built—Field Services, Professional Services, and Support Services—remain the foundations for the content we deliver and in the structure of our programming and events. Over time, we will introduce new service disciplines as interest develops among our membership.
In addition to our continuing focus on the needs of the discrete technology services disciplines, TSIA will enhance its historical mandate in this new decade in three ways:
- By providing leadership in on the topics of services industry convergence and value-added services.
- By promoting the expanded role that services play in the technology business landscape.
- By expanding TSIA’s global footprint to more closely match that of our members.
